White Tail Ridge - What's all the noise about? Neighbours reported that on one day last week heavy equipment noise started before 6:30 am and, on SundayJuly 25 th, continued until 10:30 pm ! Diesel engines, rock crushing and incessant backing alarms of heavy equipment don't make for an enjoyable rest day in the summer.
More like quarry work than construction... the rats must not be happy being disturbed either... and where are they going to go? Buyers should probably check WTR marketing material for possible references to "abundant wildlife".
Councillor Garry Dalgity runs again in Almonte, promoting himself as an "experienced Councillor" and encouraging the next Council to cool its heels on spending, while at the same time continuing to advocate for the expensive Sewage Treatment Plant. Although it's not yet a race, Almonte ward now has four candidates for Council, with Phil Wood, Chris O'Brien and Bernard Cameron already signed up.
Candidates have websites! Candidates Shaun McLaughlin (Ramsay) and Phil Warland (Pakenham) both have compaign websites up and working. See below.
